| | i have just been crying... | | do you cry over drama scene in a foreign movie you are watching even if the film/show is in a foreign language and you are just reading the subtitles?i watch a lot Japanese, Korean and Taiwanese tv series and movies and even though they are all in a foreign language i can't understand, even if i'm just reading the subtitles below the screen, i still get moved at every dramatic scenes and if it is really good, i would be crying to the point that not only my eyes are crying but also my nose.[em]lol[/em] and i have just been crying an hour ago over the last episode of Yamada Tarou Monogatari which is a story about a guy, Yamada Tarou, who looks like a prince, always on top of the class, moves very elegantly but in truth, he is poor. he stands as the breadwinner for his family, he has 5 little siblings, a weak mother couldn't even cook, and his father is always away living his life painting anything he'd see. Tarou does everything, the household chores, part-time jobs, taking care of the needs of his siblings and his mother, tending to their little garden, but still manages to stay on top of his class. the series is not strictly a drama series, it is actually a comedy infused... | |
| | EMU in the STARS | | I was up north (Australia) and was looking at some Aboriginal art by some locals fella's.
When I see some dot paintings, But the one that got me was a painting of the night sky.
What was so different?, this one had an EMU in the sky in dot painting form. (we say there is the bull, the water carrier and so on in the sky.)
I got to talk to the artist and he informed me this is a true to life painting, so I asked him was it dream time, and he said no, the EMU is always in the sky at Breeding (Eggs)time, bright at the start and then fades as the season moves on.It tells the people of the land it's egg time.
He showed me the EMU in the sky, Yes it was there, I seen it and feel honoured by this Aboriginal man sharing this with me.
I dont think you would be able to see it anywhere else in the world but Australia. (bit like the little star on our flag only can be seen here, Aussie.
It made me wonder are there other things elsewhere like this. | |

| | If you died tommorow, would you be pleased with the life you lived? | | A bit of a morbid question but it got me thinking. I think I have lived a good life, to the fullest when I can. If something happens that causes my demise tomorrow, I would be satisfied and not feel that my time is wasted. I didn't accomplish anything notable, but fame and fortune is highly overrated to begin with. I have lived life to its fullest and enjoyed while I was here. So how about you? Will you be satisfied with your life if you pass away tomorrow? Looking forward to reading your responses. | |
