My sister-in-law is allergic to artificial jewelry, whereas my daughter to Gold. I wonder what is the reason for this problem. every time she puts on a chain or earnings made of gold, she gets all itchy and keeps tugging at the piece, trying to get rid of it. I myself am allergic to wood, I can't sit on any wooden furniture, or rest my arms on a Wooden Table, unless there is cushion and table cover. MY body gets red and starts to itch.
So do you have any allergy of this nature, that the common man would find weird. | |
| | Guess what in this cup of Mylot Icon: Tea or Coffee? | | Hi Mylotters, I have a weird question in my mind running all the day long. I have seen the pair of cup and plates with some brewing LiK'r, served hot. I was trying to guess what this liK'r is. When I asked my husband he said "it must be coffee as most of the people worldwide love drinking coffee as it is readily available across the globe". But my predicament is different than his views. I feel that the liK'r in the cup is tea as the color of the coffee will be somewhat different, abit lighter, than the one placed here. Though the spoon kept over the plate strongly indicates the liK'r to be coffee, I would go with the view of a cup of tea placed over a wooden table. What is your GUESS? | |

| | I've Been Adopted! | | It looks like I’ve been adopted. I guess I’m a daddy!At the trail where I bike, I spotted a young cat two days ago. It was friendly enough; wasn’t scared of me, so yesterday I took a can of tuna to feed it. It dug into it like crazy, first lapping up the liquid at the top of the can, then proceeded to eat every last bit of white albacore tuna the can held. After it finished, it (I did not invade its privacy to see whether it was a boy cat or girl cat) cleaned itself off, peed, pooped, scratched, apparently to cover the poop, then returned to me for some affection.This is a really cute cat.Today, before I went for my bike ride, I packed some dry dog food from Lady’s stash into a bag and tossed it into my car.I got to table number one (one of two tables at the trailhead where I bike), and parked my car. There, sitting on one of the benches at table number one, was the cat. This was where I left it yesterday with a belly full of tuna.As I approached the table with the dog food, I thought the cat might run away, but it didn’t. I poured the contents of the bag on the wooden table and the cat began eating like there was no tomorrow. I left it in mid-meal to proceed... | |

| | DHL delivers body parts to Michigan home..... | | This poor couple were expecting some parts to their wooden table but also got 2 extra packages delivered in bubble wrap. When they unwrapped those, one was a liver, the other was a part of a head with an ear. Authorities believe 28 other packages of bady parts that were sent from China destined to a lab in Michigan may have been wrongly delivered elsewhere across the country. A few of the packages broke open enroute, scattering the body parts in the truck.This is not a shocker to me! I started to use DHL a while back for shipping because of their prices. However, I soon found that their delivery times could vary from what was promised, and 7 out of 10 packages I sent arrived broken. One was insured for over $400 but DHL wouldn't pay. I finally had to go to the Better Business Bureau in order to get my money from them! It's obvious that DHL just isn't worth using, especially when shipping body parts! | |
